I have noticed here in Lapland that you really need to seize the moment. Different kinds of seasonal changes go by really fast. I've gotten little bit familiar with the different phases of seasons in Lapland. Maybe it's easier next year and years after that if we decide to stay here "for good".
For the last few months we have had beautiful forests with snow and frost on top of the trees. Now the sun is up after the "kaamos" and the weather is warmer. It feels good to really see the sun but the days for the snowy trees are limited. The sun warms the snow and with the harsh winds promised for tomorrow the snow might drop from some of the trees.
We seized the moment and experienced this wonderful walk with snow boots in beautiful February weather! Tomorrow it may look totally different.
