It has been hot hot summer above arctic circle. We have been swimming every day. But yesterday we made family trip to Kelontekemä summer festival. Ämmi came along too. Smoked fish was delicious but I wouldn't have believed that our son would be so brave eater. Head and tail too!
On a beautiful summer day you don’t want to stay inside to prepare a dinner or for any other reason for that matter. Smoked fish is the way to go. Using smoker is easier than barbequing because you don’t need to stay beside the smoker all the time.
Today we had Perch. Ämmi made all the preparations with Olavi. Olavi is a very curious kid and wants to help whenever and wherever it is possible.
This blueberry field is just near by. So easy to go with Olavi. And Mummi too. Mummi said that it is her turn now to pick berries from the nearest forest. Privilege for the oldest person in the village. I found that amusing.
