Mummi showed me her secret cloudberry picking spots. Good spots are kept as family secrets. This year it seemed that berries wanted to play real hide and seek. Open swamp had hardly any cloudberries, but we stumbled upon cloudberry in wooded parts of the swamp. And with mosquitoes of course!
Farm Day 2014
Right a way in the middle of the action! But it doesn't matter because all the event's are outside. No one knows about our mess and boxes. This is an annual Farm day event arranged by a local youth organisation. Ämmi has been volunteering in that organisation for decades. It is convenient to gather this event and other animals around Ojanperä's dairy farm. This is a fun day for the whole family. Flea market is my favourite and I always make good finds! And horseback riding too! Among visitors it is very popular to take hourly tours inside the dairy barn. Cows have free passage in and out from the barn so they wonder around the field as they like.
